One of my goals for 2016 is to make better use of my closet. This means get rid of clothes that I don't wear often and stop buying new clothes unless it's something that I need (using that term loosely), or that I can see myself getting a lot of use out of. I'm so so so guilty of "sale shopping" or buying $100 worth of clothes that I don't need just because I'm saving 50%.
To get myself started on the right foot, I did two things this weekend:
1. Flipped all the hangers in my closet so they're backwards. After I wear and wash an item, I hang it in the closet forwards. This is a good way to see what I'm wearing and what I'm not.
2. Pulled out several items that I know I'm ready to part with. I listed them for sale on Poshmark so you (or anyone!) can shop my closet.
Haven't heard of Poshmark? It's a website and app where you can buy or sell used clothing. I just listed my first batch of items. You can shop my entire closet here, but below are a few of my shirts for sale! Click an image to shop!
