Lately... (IV)

Hi! Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone caught Monday's post about the Home Depot Style Challenge we participated in. We're still pinching ourselves that we had the opportunity to work with a company we love so much. If you like the post, let us know!

Today we just wanted to do another "Lately..." update since the past couple of weeks have been busy with Halloween, traveling out of town, etc. We have some fun trips planned for the end of the month, so this weekend we can't wait to stay in and get. stuff. done. But here's what we've been up lately to via my Instagram photos! (p.s. follow me!)

Sweater / Boots
Two weekends ago we had our annual Fall Day! This is the day every fall where we pick pumpkins, watch scary movies, and basically spend the entire day doing all of the fall things.

A few days later my best friend, Bethany, visited us all the way from Alaska! It was a short but sweet visit, filled with lots of food and exploring the many boutiques in Lawrenceville!

We introduced Bethany to my favorite restaurant in the city: Franktuary (I wish I had a plate of that poutine right now!) Afterwards, we went to Altar Bar to see The Front Bottoms! Nick and I have been waiting for this show for months and it was so freaking good. You should definitely check out their new album and you won't be disappointed.

Nick and I went to the Pens game last Thursday! We don't get to attend many games, so when the opportunity presents itself we can't say no. Lots of fans were dressed in costume and our boys were the victors, so it was a win-win!

Halloween night was our party with our friends Sarah and Joel! Sarah made an awesome balloon wall that spelled "boo" and a bunch of friends came out to celebrate All Hallows Eve! Did you see our Spaghetti and Parmesan Cheese couples costumes?

And last but certainly not least... I got my illustrated copy of the Sorcerer's Stone ::heart eyes emoji:: I haven't started reading it yet, but I flipped through a bit to check out the illustrations and they are beautiful. My plan is to re-read the series through the illustrated editions and I can't wait! I'll probably start next month once we set up our Harry Potter Christmas tree.

That's about it! I also started and finished my first knitting project of the season. Now that it's getting cold I've been bit by the knitting bug. I'm going to try making my first hat, but I'll probably whip up some of these blankets and scarves too!

We hope you have a great rest of the week!

Sarah & Nick
